Senior Football Returns To Collingham

After many years of football at Collingham without senior mens football, Collingham will this season welcome a new open age team.

The new team is called "Collingham Junior Old Boys", a name that reflects the current squad's passage to adult football - through the Collingham Junior ranks and also the club's desire (and Chartered Standard commitment) to provide an avenue for juniors to play football beyond the junior age groups. The team will play in the Yorkshire Old Boys League.

Dan Syers, himself an ex-Collingham Junior player, has returned from three years at Newcastle University to pick up the challenge of developing this very important initiative for the club.

Collingham is looking for companies who are interested to advertising on hoardings around the main Collingham pitch on Harewood Road. This pitch is used by our 11-a-side teams that play in the Garforth League and Harrogate League and therefore have exposure to an audience from all over the district.
